This is a luxurious black velvet jacket with wide flared sleeves and soft feather trim. It has a collarless neckline, no armhole seam and 6 front-closure metal shell-like buttons. New-Romantic vibes! Made in France.

De PréMonville was born in the Basque region of France. She was a freelance designer for companies including Fiorucci. She began her own company in the mid 80s and opened her first boutique in Paris in 1989. There is always a hint of 1950s couture in her work. The Vogue pattern company included her designs in the Vogue Attitude range of patterns in the 90s. She turned her career towards PR management in 2006.
